How do I start and log a workout?

Start today's workout, tick off each set as you go and say how it felt, so your next weights fit you.

Updated October 29, 2026

Each workout is built from your plan, your gym and how rested your muscles are.

  1. Open My training. On Today, tap Start workout.
  2. For each set, check the weight and reps. Change them if you did something else, then tap the tick next to the set.
  3. After a set, the rest timer runs. Use −15 s, +15 s or Skip.
  4. After the last set of an exercise, answer How did it feel?:
    • Easy: 3 or more reps left in the tank.
    • Just right: 1–2 reps left.
    • Hard: nothing left.
  5. Tap Next exercise. When you are done, tap Finish workout. Sets you did not tick count as not done.

What the rating does

Your answer shapes the next weight for that exercise. Easy tells the plan it can go up faster, Just right nudges it up a little, and Hard says you were at your limit, so it moves carefully. A harder exercise also counts more against your muscle recovery. If you skip the question, it counts as Hard.

Tip: Wondering where a weight came from? Tap Why this weight? on the exercise.
